And the winner is…. the gnocchi, covered in a light creamy basil sauce. Also a tasty roast beef, a tomato-covered chicken, a very nice roasted potato, greens with dressing, and a Greek salad. It was a fine meal, with a lovely program of entertainment and good company, at the Faculty Club at UCB.
The two wines are shown below. I chose the cab when greeted with a tray of wine glasses at the door, and being a fan of reds in general. However, I didn’t love it, and tried the chard with dinner. It was cold and refreshing, and I liked it better.
