Omelette between a late arrival and work on the income taxes – 30 March 2011

D got home very late from work – close to 8:00, I think – but came up with an omelette in short order.

There was basil in water on the island, which he used, and some old but still good tomato sauce – just a couple of tablespoons – in the fridge from the last time I made a Margherita. Yikes, that was a long time ago… D put a lot of Romano into the omelette, which made it rather salty, but overall it was good tasting. He also boiled up some broccoli, which we had with a little butter and salt. Good dinner. I toasted up some slices from our brand new loaf of Acme Pain au Levain, which can be seen below in Easter Island mode looking Wise.

D chose us a Mas de la Garrigue Cotes du Rousillon, which we have liked a lot in the past. It was good, but not that exciting, for some reason.
