Pork chops; brown rice; broccoli – 10 January 2011

D split one Costco pork chop in two, horizontally, and cooked them in oil with herbs. This is written on the 30th, unfortunately, so I don’t recall exactly what he did, but the taste was good.

I think that is brown rice, with pork chop drippings over it. D cooks broccoli by boiling it, so that is likely what he did here.

The wine was one of my favorite cheap ones from Trader Joe’s, the Valreas Cotes du Rhone Villages, this from 2008. Delicious wine!
