Pasta with tomatoes; broccoli – 6 January 2011

D cooked this pasta after I got home from Mom’s, and I’m writing this on 26 January. I’m pretty sure I remember it, though, after a good look: the sauce was the last of some roasted tomatoes with garlic, which D thought were not as tasty as the previous several sets. Nevertheless, it made a really good pasta sauce.

The broccoli was just steamed or boiled – more likely the latter, as that is D’s usual preference.

We had this Valreas Cotes du Rhone Villages, a wine I bought at Trader Joe’s before we left in December, remembering that I had really liked it before. I was right – it has a great taste!
